Tips for Remote/Virtual Learning
1. Don't let lazy mornings get you off track.
Being at home makes it easy to stay in your pajamas and roll out of bed and log into class, but getting up and eating breakfast can help set your mindset for the day ahead
2. Set routines you can stick to.
Make sure you are going to bed at an hour that allows you to still wake up in the morning and log into your zoom meetings for class. If you are not a morning person, set up your breakfast or morning snack the night before. Include break times during the day as well as dedicated time to complete homework
3. Create a to-do list.
Knowing what you have to work on each day can help you prioritize to get things done. Make sure you are writing down due dates so you can keep them organized. Did you know that Google Classroom has a to-do list with all your upcoming assignments listed? Watch the video below to learn how to use it!
4. Remove distractions.
Make sure when you are in class or doing work that you eliminate distractions. Try to find a quiet location. If it is hard to find somewhere quiet, use headphones to help you focus on what your teacher is saying. Make sure you aren't in a room with a television on, although it is in the background it can distract you from your work.
