Fall Sports

Fall Sports' tryouts are prior to the end of the school year or during the summer.

Winter Sports

  • ​Men's and Women's Basketball

  • Men's and Women's Swim*

Winter Sport's tryouts start in the late fall.

Spring Sports

Spring Sports tryouts start near the end of February.

Other UHSAA Sponsored Groups

Students may be in these classes, but must meet specific eligibility requirements to participate in competitions and other activities.
Cheerleading: Cheerleading is an audition class. Cheerleaders perform at games, assemblies, and compete in competitions throughout the year. Cheerleaders are an extension of Student Government and will have time commitments to help support the SBO's.

Drill Team: Drill Team is an audition class. The Chattes perform at games, assemblies and compete in competitions throughout the year.

Debate*: Debate is a class and also a competitive team. Students compete at tournaments, region, and state in several events. Debate teaches many skills that benefit students in college an in their future careers.

Instrumental Music: Instrumental Music has a variety of classes. Students may choose to complete in Region and State festivals. Classes include Jazz Band, Percussion Ensemble, Orchestra, Band, or Marching Band.

Theatre*: Theatre has a variety of classes. Students may choose to compete in Region and State Festivals.

Vocal Music*: Vocal music has a variety of classes. Students may choose to compete in Region and State Festivals. Classes include Madrigals, Concert Choir, and the Pop/Jazz Ensemble.

Important Athletic Information

  • Sports with a asterix (*) typically keep all athletes who are dedicated, attend all practices, and want to grow as an athlete.

  • If you are on a school team, you should consider taking the Competitive Athletics Class. This is a year or semester long athletic development class that focuses on developing the athletic and academic success of our athletes.

  • Most of our sports offer off-season workouts. These are great opportunities to prepare for tryouts and competition. We encourage our athletes to keep physically fit by participating in multiple sports or off-season althletic workouts.
